 Something happens the first time that you successfully copy a super affiliate and make a nice chunk of change. It changes you and the way you work. You get a confidence boost that makes it even easier to find the next opportunity. This is 'super affiliate experience' It's why the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. The rich know what works and apply that to make more money.

Here is the battleplan for 'stealth email address acquisition' Nearly every basic battleplan starts with an Objective. I. Objective : Acquire the target's email address for the purpose of checking the following. A. Search the internet for the address and also search for the name part of the address that precedes the @ sign.B. Determine whether or not the domain of the email belongs to the target and if so begin standard whois search as well as traffic research via II. Intelligence : Get as much information about the target to find out what their passionate interests are. A. Their blog posts B. Their forum posts C. The latest news about their interests
III. Interception : Identify a place where you can put your honeypot where the target is sure to see it. A. Comment on their blog B. Post it in the forum or send them a Private Message if the forum allows it.
IV. Execution : Now you must craft an offer that they can't refuse. The product can just be some PLR or an article but the approach to your target must resonate with the passions that you discovered in section II of this battleplan. Add a squeeze page and hopefully the affiliate trusts you enough that you will get an email address that takes you further down the road to copying their fortune.

 This just happened recently and it is an excellent example of successfully investigating a supposed super affiliate.
The target in this case posts frequently to the forum and has for years. They talk a good game so I keep an eye on them. A merchant ripped them off for a few hundred dollars so they outed the merchant and named them in a post complaining about it. Naming names in a public forum pissed off the merchant so they made a post containing the addresses of two of the targets websites. The websites were edited out of the post very quickly but I was fortunate enough to swing by before they were deleted and began my investigation.
A quick search at domaintools.com revealed that the target was not using private registration so we now have the target's name address and two of their websites. From here we can hit the search engines with all of those pieces of information and begin to piece together a copy of their moneymaking machine. If in fact, they turn out not to be another faker. |

 So your on your favorite forum and some poster is talking like he's making big money but he won't say how. There's a bunch of things we can do to find out more but in this post we'll discuss a technique to get the IP address of the poster.
The forum needs to allow you to put an image in your post via a hyperlink. 90% of forums let you do this. Now find a picture that is pertinent to a thread that the target is participating in. Put this picture on one of your webservers that you have access to the logs on. In the post with the picture ask the target a question to force them to post. When they post, their browser will view your picture and cause an entry in your webserver's logs with a timestamp very close to the timestamp that you can see on their post in the forum. This log entry will contain their IP address as well as some browser and computer info about what they are using. Look up the IP address at http://www.infosniper.net to get a geographical location https://ws.arin.net/whois to see who owns the IP address Search Google for the IP address. Surprises can sometimes be found here. |

Time and time again, I have been fooled by people who were in reality dismal failures but who had convinced me that they were gurus. Now, I am skeptical. I have tracked down many people that I thought were super affiliates and I found out that a lot of them were fakes. These are people who I guess really care what other people think of them to the point of letting it get in the way of true success for themselves. It's just so twisted. Now I am skeptical until I see the money. I hate wasting time on those fakers though. Be a doer not a talker. |

 Sure, I use Google trends to see what is hot RIGHT NOW! But I also use it when I'm tracking down the money system of a suspected super affiliate.
Okay, so you're tracking a certain Adwords campaign for a couple of months and it looks like this guy is making good money to maintain his campaign. Go to Google Trends at http://trends.google.com/websites?q=wikipedia.org and enter the domain of the target's website that he links to in his Adwords ads. Not only will you see his daily uniques (estimated) but you will see Googles data for his top search terms under "Also searched for". This is where you are likely to find his top converting keywords. Now in order to show up in Google Trends, they have to be getting significant traffic so it's a safe bet that you can get even more info on your target by going to http://quantcast.com http://alexa.com and http://compete.com There's more of these sites popping up everyday so keep your eyes open and you just might learn something, baby.  |
